Join instrumentalist Jeff Rivo for Dap-ayan Community Drum Lesson and Circle. Dap-ayan is the Iluko term for circular gathering, not only for the institution or the people being gathered but also where any "gannuat" or activity takes place.

In these times, as a school who aims to propagate our ancestral traditions, we emphasize the importance for community, for gathering and for creative expression.

Dap-ayan is a space for all to come and learn basic percussion techniques with various ancestral drum and percussion instruments while expressing ourselves through free form dance, and for us to invoke and honor the Spirits of our Ancestors.
